Sometimes you need a change.
But it’s frustrating because nothing changes until something changes.
So you see to create change you’ll actually have to move something around, mess or line it up, and step into a new pattern of habits.
While I’m ready to create change. Are you?
Change in schedule. (5 resources for creating routines)
Change in habits.
Change in life.
Remember the old Brandy Bunch show when Peter’s voice changes and they have to record a song “When it’s time to change, you’ve got to rearrange…who you are and what you’re gonna be?” (view it here) BTW – don’t you dare tell me you are too young to remember that.
Well, that pretty much describes it.
Sha na na na na . . .
It’s time to rearrange and create change.
Are you with me?
Linking up with Lisa-Jo to write for 5 minutes about change.

Enjoyed reading!

Change is hard, but change is growth. Especially God change – – – being aware that’s the trick. Thanks for the reminder. You have any more tricks up your sleeve girl??

Loved your 5MF today, Alene, and I can completely relate to the frustration that “nothing changes until something changes.” Amen, sister! May God work through the changes to bring us back to His feet.
Related: I miss the Brady Bunch. (Marsha, Marsha, MARsha!!!) ;)
Positively Alene says
A girl after my heart — love love love the Brady Bunch. Totally a Marsha fan here. Thankful those frustrating pains of change bring us back to the Master Changers feet. He sure knows how to grow us. Growing pains . . . hmmmm seems that was another good show. How did that song go?
Pam O says
Ha! That’s great. I remember…
I don’t know how you ladies manage to pack so much good info, links, pictures, into a 5-minute post! So well done.
I’m just going to have to keep coming back and practicing!
Have a great weekend.
Positively Alene says
Girl – I”m a cheater. My writing is 5, everything else is above and beyond my 5. Half the time my computer freezes up while I’m adding pics or video. Frustrating – so I just don’t include that in the time. LOL
Hope I didn’t burst your bubble now that you know I’m a cheater.

Stefanie – those are the best resources I’ve come across the past year. Each one proved valuable to me. And they still are as I refer to them to reboot my schedule. Have you tried the Pomodoro Technique??? Good stuff.
Stefanie Brown says
I have tried the Pomodoro Technique, but downloaded the information. have a busy weekend ahead, but plan to dive into in next week. It is it truly as amazing as all the reviews I’m reading?

Just when life gets comfortable, there is change. I’m always a little hesitant to step into it, but I know God’s got my hand. Oh and the Brady Brunch was my favorite growing up!
Cynthia Gracia says
Thanks for the confirmation Alene! As I read your post I felt the Lord nudging me to act NOW on something He has placed on my heart! I suppose its the “messing something up” part which causes me to procrastinate. I know though GOD will be there I just need to move and leave the thoughts of “cleaning up” whatever must change to HIM and just trust! Blessings to ya! Cindy
