“Where are we going?” We’ve probably said it, and if you have children I’m sure you’ve heard it. It’s a question we dismiss quite often. But as I reflected after I sat in a meeting with an awesome leader, I need to ask, “Where are you going? Where am I going?”
The answer is simple.
Show me who you are listening to and I’ll show you where you’re going.
Show me who you are hanging around and I’ll show you where you’ll end up.
Show me what you are thinking and I’ll show you the journey.
Yet while the answer is so simple, we dismiss it as we run through our daily routines. However, planning and pondering over my journey is one of my favorite things. Have you thought about it?
Do you want to know where you’ll be by the end of 2012? Take a look at who you are listening to, who you are hanging around, and what you are studying and in 365 days you will be well on your way to being more like them.
Want to change the destination of where you are headed?
Change who you hang around.
Change who and what you listen to.
Change your thoughts.
Change what you study.
Today, I’m taking note of where I’m headed and what I need to change.
How is your journey? Do you know where you are headed? Is course correction needed?
Next year will be an amazing adventure. Chart your course now and let that be one of your favorite things.

Thank you for your encouraging words. Glad to hear these words resonate with your hearts. Last thing I'd want to do is fill up with the bloggy world with words that don't carry some value to someone. Blessings and thanks again.

I am reminded of the scripture that tells me to "fix my eyes on Jesus". So often, I look to other things, people to fill me and guide me. I want this year to be a focused year with keep my eyes on Jesus!
