What are your plans for Easter? I am so excited this year to celebrate Easter as I think Jesus would have me — serving others!
For years my Easter has consisted of that new Easter dress and shoes to match, children’s matching outfits, Easter baskets and bunnies. This year, it’s different! It’s about others.
Last night a group of us from Bay Area Fellowship took a meal into the Nueces County Jail Annex and served the residents. It was a blessing to serve. The residents were so thankful and appreciative as they are rarely served by others.
My heart is full and I can’t wait to share more Easter opportunities to serve.
What can you do in your community to reflect Jesus this Easter?
Feed the homeless on the corner.
Hand out $5 gift cards to McDonald’s to those in need.
Take your clothing and old purses to the streets to bless a mom and child.
Let’s make this Easter not only about Jesus, but a week to live like Jesus!
What are you plans?

I think this is a great ministry. I’m sure those prisoners will appreciate this act of service.

Yes, this year I’m going to do more than just sing about Jesus, I want to live like Him this Easter week.

“Let’s make this Easter not only about Jesus, but a week to live like Jesus!” oh, girl. you make Him proud.
Let’s see…I’ve just donated a bunch of my old work clothes to a local place that outfits single, out-of-work mothers with new work attire for interviews. we’re helping do a community egg hunt for the kids Friday. and instead of buying a new outfit for my son this year, I bought one for another boy who needed one more. It’s a start, but I’m still striving….. ; )

Oh girl – your striving has me crying! I love what you are doing and your heart. Let’s keep on keepin’ on to change the world around us. Hugs dear friend.
