Fear has stopped me in my tracks more times that I care to count. Can you relate?
I have had to get brave, but before I could do that I had to learn about my fear. Have you ever taken a look at what your afraid of or where that fear comes from?
Armed with the right knowledge of our fears, we can conquer anything. Knowing the origin or your fear and acknowledging that it is there is a huge step on your journey to living with purpose.
Which fear stops you?
fear of failure
fear it won’t be perfect
fear of what other’s might say
fear that you are not talented enough
fear the relationship won’t last
fear of committing
There are so many fears we need to step over.
We can’t go around them or step out of them. Nope, we need to acknowledge them and step over them giving them no power over our lives.
Listen in and see three important reasons why you must step over fear.

1. Fear will permeate.
Don’t let your fear soak into your soul and penetrate your being.
Matthew 6:34 NLT “So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.”
2. Fear will dominate.
Once fear permeates, it will begin to dominate every area of your life.
Here’s a great resource to help you conquer that fear that was not mentioned in the podcast — a book called Flinch. Get a FREE Kindle download by clicking here.
Quit flinching over things that will not hurt you.
3. Fear will terminate.
Fear left to its own will terminate your soul, dreams, and eventually life. Once your mind has convinced yourself these fears are real it has taken control over your being.
Romans 8:15 MSG “This resurrection life you received from God is not a timid, grave-tending life. It’s adventurously expectant, greeting God with a childlike ‘What’s next, Papa?’”

Alene, my friend Jen Ferguson at Finding Heaven posted the same message the other day. I think fear is something we’re all dealing with, in one shape or another. Good message.

Good stuff. And Emily at Chatting at the Sky posted today —- think God is trying to tell me to be brave. Glad you listened in.
