If you would like to read the beginning of this story so this makes sense, you need to visit HERE first and HERE second. As Paul Harvey would say . . .
And now for the rest of this incredible story! OK – it’s 2 stories.
Story ONE:
I had prayed for a divine appointment and the whole Club Team had too. As the girls got their goodies and we visited, I turned around and there was this girl.
She looked like a young mom.
She looked like she didn’t belong.
She looked miserable.
I started a conversation with her and somewhere in the middle of what I was saying she interrupts with,
I need to find another job.”
I’ll never forget the look of desperation in her face. The tone in the words that cried out, “help me.” I fought back tears as we jotted down her number and assured her we would get back with her.
We have since then. We have visited and given her numbers to places that would hire. Her main issue at the moment is childcare. So, if you’d lift up a prayer for her I’d be so blessed!
I’ll keep you posted on this sweet girl!
Story TWO:
We left the club and ventured on to another one. The manager wouldn’t let us in. One of the spunky waitresses came by and was floored they wouldn’t let us in. She struck up a conversation and phone numbers were exchanged.
We had not been gone longer than 30 minutes when the leader receives this text saying something to the effect, “I am so glad our Father brought us together tonight. I wasn’t going to go to work, but the Father knew I needed to meet y’all.”
She agreed she’d love to meet us for lunch and I’m happy to say that we have now all spent an afternoon together!
Did you hear that? We have spent time together!
God did that. Because we stepped out God created a place for miracles to occur.
After our lunch together where tears and laughter were shared, she claimed us as her friends and said she needed us to move on. WHOA!!
Hours after our lunch she sent this text: “you know what, I think I’m going to call in tonight. With the way I’m feeling, I don’t want to be there. Plus, if I go I might end up preaching and get fired.”
She’s a firecracker and I love my new friend. Please pray she can soon leave that place for good.
I’m blown away by God’s goodness, mercy, and GRACE!!
It’s time you and I STEP OUT!
It’s time you and I GET BOLD!
It’s time WE MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
I’m reminded in such a precious way of how Christ always left the 99 to go search for the ONE. He continually reached out to the prostitutes and adulterers.
Yep, that’s my Jesus and He just worked a miracle out of an encounter from a strip club!

I love that you were able to touch some women’s hearts and give them aid. You are right, everyone needs to be loved on.

Girl – it’s amazing how unloved and unworthy many feel. It’s time we shine Jesus light and love on all – not those just sitting in our churches. Many times those feelings of unworthiness keep others right where they are.
