Keep it simple – in marriage, grief, joy, whatever. Even in ordinary things – your daily routines of shopping, and so on. 1 Corinthians 7:29-30 MSG
Have you heard of the KISS method? KISS meaning Keep It Simple, Sister!
Have you ever noticed how we love to complicate our lives? If we are not careful our days become routines of juggling school schedules, work schedules, meetings, marriage, children, phone calls, babysitters, meals, shopping and even ministry.
I so appreciate my friends who are organized. Not only are their daily planners organized, but their schedules, shopping lists, personal lives and family times are too. Because organization is not one of my natural abilities, I think I complicate things more so as I strive to be like my friends.
However, I’m learning it is not about being like my friends. It is about keeping it simple in every ordinary thing I do, so that I have time to spend with the Lord, hear Him and obey so that I can become the best me that God created.
Yep, it’s time to start — KISS, KISS.
Keep it simple, sista!

Great thoughts Alene! Something I need to put into practice also! I live a too "cluttered" life! And you know…I've noticed that even in blog land the KISS principle applies…..for I am much more likely to read and comprehend a short, sweet, and simple blog post rather than a very long complicated one!!

I like your KISS. I have been trying to de-cluter. Little by little I will get it done.
