We’ve come a long way, Baby!
Nothing better describes our relationship and marriage.
Through our ups and downs, highs and lows, good times and bad – you’ve always kept the same loving, generous and gentle heart that I fell in love with our junior year of high school. (yes, we’re high school sweethearts!) Ooh. Awe! How sweet?
When we were 18 I remember being at the ranch and you came to visit. That evening we sat under the clear Texas skies and gazed up at the multitude stars. The North Star was shining so bright that night.
Silently I said such wise words – are you ready?
Star light, Star bright. First star I see tonight. I wish I may, I wish I might. Have this wish I wish tonight.
I wished for you.
Poof! Wish granted. Amazing!
Of course, thanks to God for creating the stars and authoring the universe. Thanks to God for creating you and bringing you into my life. Thanks to God for your loving and strong arms – especially when they are around me. hugs
Happy birthday, Hubby!!!

Always so very refreshing to hear a wife (or a hubby) giving thanks for and praising their God-given mate! Getting pretty rare in this day and time! Sounds like you got a great answer to your wish! (wink!)
God bless you!
