As I reminisced of my dream come true in England (read it here), my mind kept wandering . . .
The waiter was so kind to make my every dream come true and to set the perfect table for me – a foreigner he didn’t even know. He attended to every last detail, escorted me to the table and brought out the finest!
I’m encouraged to recall that there is even a grander table being set for me. The foreign waiter won’t escort me there, but the King of Kings will.
Stop for a minute and just picture the setting. The King of Kings invites you to attend the banquet of all banquets! He has prepared a feast. Oh and I’m sure the heavenly feast to come will put our Thanksgiving feasts to shame.
“Hallelujah! For our Lord God Almighty reigns. Let us rejoice and be glad
and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready. Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear.”
Revelation 19: 6-8 NIV
How amazing!
