I will not neglect Your word. Psalm 119:16 NIV
Have you been there? You are having a bad day when you begin seeking God’s comfort from His word. Shortly you realize your frustrations are turned to joy in the Lord.
Determine today to take pleasure in the Lord. The psalmist writes, “I will not neglect Your word.” As you wake in the morning remember to set aside a special time with the Lord. Make it your God Time.
Make that appointment today. Begin by deciding where you will meet the Lord to reflect on His goodness. Will it be at the kitchen table, in your favorite chair or on your back porch? Wherever you chose, the Lord will be there waiting. Would you like a cup of coffee as you meet?
Reflecting on God’s truths, goodness, and faithfulness will perk up your morning. With a little bit of preparation today and the aroma of coffee to stir your soul, you are sure to have a peaceful morning

My favorite thing to do early in the morning – yes with a cup of strong java. These moments set my whole day!

We reflect on God's Word in our recliners with a cup of coffee. Then we pray before we start our day.
Oh, how much better the day goes.
Blessings from Aliene to Alene!
Isn't that neat?

Everyday with Jesus… my BFF! Hanging with Him is the best!!!
Hope all is well, Alene. I'll be getting in touch with you soon (e-mail); Kelsie told me she hopes you'll have available time to work her in your schedule to do her senior portraits. She loves how Lindsey's turned out : ) Hopefully it will work out. I'll be in touch later this week.
Love ya, girl friend!

I NEED to start each day with Jesus in the Word. It really sets the tone for my whole day. Reminds me that my Abba has it all under control.
