I woke up early. I mean eyes popping open as I fully woke up at the crack of dawn! I awoke with an air of blessing hanging over my mind and heart yesterday morning as it was my 50th birthday. The sun was shining, birds were chirping, and my little world seemd so peaceful. As I made my way to the coffee pot, I longed for time to be with God. To thank Him. To share with Him.
I wanted to journal and hear from Him. But all I felt and could write was I feel so blessed . . .
-blessed with an incredible husband and family who loves me regardless
-blessed with awesome friends that I love doing life with
-blessed with a passion to write (find me here today talking about my life as a writer)
-blessed with a heart that loves to share Jesus with the broken
-blessed with the urgency to teach Truth
I’ve never felt so blessed and appreciative to be alive. The saying “every day is a gift from God” rang so true in my mind that morning. Every breath a blessing.
