The twists and turns pounded into my life-map this week have been quite interesting. Has your road-map been the same, but with sweet glimpses of a loving God?
Carefully mapping out my plans, etching them in my planner, and carrying the routine out for the week, I became aware God had a different life-map for my immediate path.
There were signposts along the way. Invitations to join in His work.
The question was —
would I drop my agenda at the fork in the road and take God’s path?
Following God is just plain tricky at times. You think you know where you are going and what you’re doing, only to realize He has put a signpost ahead that screams,
“Turn here. I need you here!”
I want to follow God. I’ve learned His ways and paths are the most awakening adventures there are. Count me in!
So, I scramble. I prepare. I pack. I juggle and stretch.
It was a last minute call, but I’m headed to StudentCamp2012. My heart beats with excitement of what is in store. God has pointed the way and made the path clear.
I could not ignore this signpost.
What signpost has God dropped along your path? Are you heeding the direction?
Joining The Gypsy Mama today writing for 5 about the path.

Right now, my sign post is to just trust Him w/ my youngest – that He will give me the direction I need to help my child.

Oh my — trusting Him with our children is probably one of the hardest things that I’ve had to do. I can’t tell you how many countless hours I spent in their rooms praying for them. Blessings and lifting up a prayer for your youngest.

I have learned through my life, that the only thing to do is Trust God, especially when the path before you is full of obstacles and difficulty. It’s never the easy choice and so hard at times, but it is the only choice to survive.

When that path is full of obstacles and difficult – yep, that’s hard. When the path is scary and dark — that path is difficult too. But both are path of trust leaning on HIM who calls us to walk those paths. Even. when. we. don’t. want. too!!!

I think God is reminding me I need him more. I need more of his word and more of his truth. I need to listen to him more than I need anything else. I’m going to read Mark and hear what he has to say to me. :)

I love this. God has drawn ever so nearer to Him lately. Those sweet quiet moments are precious when He reveals himself and love. I’m betting Mark has some great things for you today!
