Yesterday, we took at look at the ways two purposes can battle within our soul. And oh, there seems to be a battle universal! Loving the comments, please keep them coming as we encourage one another in our fight.
Your battle might not look exactly like mine, but the quarrel within our soul that we all experience can stop us in our pursuit if we are not careful. At the beginning of the year as I took a good look at my life, I thought I was doing pretty good. (not good thinking on my part!) Well, that was until God’s word got a hold of me one morning.
“More, more.”
I have God’s more-than-enough, More joy in one ordinary day.
Caroline says
Realizing hat God is more than enough and gives us why we need really does bring true joy, doesn't it?
Alene says
Caroline – God is more than enough and the joy comes when I remember that for sure. These lingering questions that dance around in my head throw me off the Joy path at times. Blessings girl!
Kristine says
Oh, this is a good word! God's riches are always more than enough. So hard to remember that but important to understand beyond our head and heart, right into our spirit.

Oh how I need these reminders SO often, Alene. I think I'm "doing good" sometimes too when I don't want more stuff in the materialistic sense. But those other areas? Ouch.
May I choose to want more of God, less of everything else.

Blue Cotton Memory says
I want more God in me – and when I seek and reach for more, everything else moves into the background. It's hard though, to keep the lense of my heart always focused where it should be:)

This certainly spoke to me. The idea that the need for "more" isn't just of possessions was very humbling. Thank you so much for sharing your heart!
