Do you have a dream burning inside you? A dream of a better education, a more flexible body, seeing your ideal weight, a more intimate relationship with Christ, better communication with your children or beginning your own business or ministry.
As you begin this new year, now is the time to decide, dedicate and determine your plans and goals to accomplish that dream. Spend time in prayer to decide what His goals are for you. For He alone knows the plans He has for you (Jeremiah 29:11). Once you’ve determined them with God’s help, write them down.
Then take those written goals and dedicate them to the Lord. As you dedicate them, determine each and every day to live your life taking baby steps needed to accomplish those goals. Begin each day praying, “Lord, today, I dedicate __________________ to you.” Remember, this is not a once a year prayer. It is a prayer to be said each new day of 2011.
Today is the day to begin embracing the journey.

This is my first visit. I guess your name caught my attention. Mine is Aliene. Pronounced like Al in Allen and like Lean after the Al.
Yes, we all make goals to reach. One of my goals is to be more compassionate and to start, again,
having church families over for a Sunday meal. We have quite a few families that drive over an hour to get to church. Instead of sandwiches I thought they might enjoy a good meal.I have already started. It will take prayer ~ for I am not a good entertainer.
