One of the best books I read a few years ago is Chazown by Craig Groeschel. It is an incredible book that helps explain your purpose.
There’s a plaque hanging in my office that says, “The purpose of life is a life of purpose.” However, I don’t want to live my purpose, because I’m good at messing things up and getting things wrong. Can anyone else relate? Today, I want to live my Chazown, my God purpose.
Chazown is the Hebrew word for dream, revelation, or vision.
“Where there is no vision, the people perish.” Proverbs 29:18
God calls you to live His purpose, the one He gave you when He created you. Are you?
I know I’m trying, I’m practicing and I’m learning to live purposefully with His vision.
It’s an amazing journey.
How about you? Do you wonder what your purpose is or do you know your Chazown?
I’d love to hear about it!

Sherm…check it out online…tons of stuff…it’s basically a joint laced with liquid PCP. People typically get high within 5 minutes and it can make people believe that they have super human strength. Praying that the gentlemen that you heard about would learn to lean on the REAL SUPER HUMAN STRENGTH OF GOD!

Oh my — it certainly is an interesting drug. When we first checked it out it was referred also as to a joint that has been dipped in embalming fluid. There are reviews on all kinds of ways it is made. Wicked!!! Yep — I’ll hang on to the REAL Power!

I have been praying and seeking God for my “chazown”(love learning Hebrew words)…and I trust He designed me to fulfill my purpose…have been gradually taking steps of obedience…like blogging although it was originally way out of my comfort zone…blessings to you, Alene :)

Dolly – you’ll love the book. He goes into the Hebrew. It is sooo interesting. I’ll be stepping baby steps beside you girl. Just trying to spread my Savior around my sphere — wherever He puts me. Blessings this Thanksgiving week.

I can relate. I sometimes get so focused on what I want that I forget that what I should be fixated on is what God wants and has for my life. I’m seeking and striving to walk in my purpose too.
I’m also a cryer btw :)

Yep – it’s all about HIM, but I often find myself in the way. Crying the whole time. I’m a mess – but hopefully a mess that is making a difference for the Kingdom. Thanks girl.
