Do you sense God is speaking to your soul? Maybe you are asking for clarity and confirmation because you are unsure of His voice.
If so, I hope you’ll join us in this week’s episode 006 as we look at the story of little boy Samuel and how he came to discern the voice and call of God.

4 Truths to Being Called
Background to little boy Samuel found here.
1. You’ll want clarity of voice.
Have you ever felt a stirring in your soul and asked for clarity around the “voice?”
2. Others will not hear your call.
Wanting others to confirm our call when they did not hear it is useless.
3. You’ll be afraid to share the vision.
Sharing what God has spoken to the still of our soul is scary, but we can’t let that stop us.
4. You must follow through with daily responsibilities.
While following through with the call upon your life, you must continue to grow and keep up with daily responsibilities.
If you’re questioning or feeling a call of God upon you at this moment, I’d love to hear about it. Can you leave it in the comments below so we can all be encouraged that God still speaks, even though his children may question?

Kim McClure says
I have been praying about something specifically to happen for almost a year now. Progress is made, then things come to a standstill, progress is made…and the cycle repeats. I’ve become frustrated and told God that I was going to stop asking because the answer is obviously no, but something in my soul just won’t let me stop. I believe it’s the Holy Spirit urging me on and God speaking to my soul not to give up. This post today was great. Thanks for sharing!

Kim – your message touches me. I’ve been there. I do not have the answers – only God as you made clear you know. But I would add that if you don’t feel released from that call then probably God has more planned for you. Spend some time fasting and praying over the direction. The call might still be the same, but the direction or way you come in to it might be something different than what you can see at this point. Scripture tells us that Gods gift and call is irrevocable (Romans 11:29). Press through. I can’t wait to hear more about your journey!
