I hope you’ll share the messages, as well as subscribe on itunes or the email feed.
Notes to get us started: I plan to post new podcasts here on Monday’s. You will be able to listen to them here on the blog and review the show notes. Feel free to email the show to yourself with the link below and then print out the notes. To get every episode as it is posted, subscribe through iTunes.
In Episode 001 we will look at 3 steps to Living on Purpose. I spent so many years wondering and asking, “what’s my purpose?” Maybe that is something familiar to your vocabulary too. What I finally realized was I was asking the wrong question to validate that I had gifts and talents — that I had something to offer. My focus was in the wrong place. Maybe yours is too? Listen in and be encouraged.

3 Steps to Living On Purpose:
1. Recognize You have a Purpose
Psalm 139:14-16 MSG “Body and soul, I am marvelously made!”
Can you say that in the mirror without giggling? If not, repeat it daily until you can. Your uniqueness in your personality, strengths, and gifts are marvelously a piece to the puzzle of who you are.
You cannot compare yourself to others, because you are one of a kind. (Galatians 6:4-5 MSG) Take responsibility for your own life and use it to glorify God.
2. Recognize Your Purpose is Important
Once you come to know Jesus, your past prepares you for your future. Paul reminds us “by the grace of God, I am what I am.” (I Corinthians 15:10)
The day you step in to your future is the day you step out of your past. <—– Tweet that!
3. Recognize Your Purpose is Serving Others
It’s not all about you. Don’t continually ask “what’s in it for me?”
Your gifts and talents were given to you so you could pour out into others. (1 Peter 4:10)
If we want to live like Jesus then we should walk in his steps as He came to serve, not to be served.
Serve others, experience life, and live like you have much to offer. You do!
Repeat this daily:
I am marvelously made and filled with purpose. I am full of life and today is my opportunity to live with purpose by serving others.
Each day is a gift so live if out with purpose!
If you have a question or comment on the podcast message, feel free to email me or leave it below. I would appreciate it if you could pass the link on to your friends and let them know there is a great motivational podcast to help them along their daily journey.
Question for you: Has there been a period of time when you struggled to know your life had meaning? Can you give an example where you experienced purpose through serving others?
